In my latest piece for Responsible Statecraft, I look at the implications of the United States moving Israel from its European command to CENTCOM, putting together with regional Arab states and advancing the formation of a coalition to confront Iran. I also look at how Saudi Arabia and Israel are working to overcome the considerable disadvantages they have hampered themselves with regarding the Biden administration. I examine the conditions they are facing and how they might try to overcome them, as well as what this implies for the JCPOA and stability in the Persian Gulf.
