Israel granted Google and Amazon the tender to consolidate its governmental and military information into one big cloud server. The program, dubbed “Project Nimbus” raised concerns among employees at the tech giants.

Over 1,000 workers from the two companies have signed on to an open letter objecting to their work being used to aid and abet Israel’s surveillance, and, therefore, attacks on and displacement of Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza. A campaign supporting the workers, “No Tech for Apartheid” has been launched.
