One of my New Year’s resolutions will be to get back to maintaining a regular schedule on the Cutting Through newsletter. Due to some other commitments, that won’t happen to start the year, but I hope it will at some point in 2023.

But I am closing out 2022 with a new edition of Cutting Through. In this one I write about taking responsibility when your country elects reprehensible leadership, an idea that applies to the US as well as, obviously right now, Israel.

I then revisit the question of how diplomacy has become a dirty word among liberals regarding Ukraine and why that is simply not a viable course to take.

Check it out, and, if you’re not subscribed, please do. I can guarantee you won’t be overwhelmed by emails from it. And either way, do encourage others to check out Cutting Through by sharing it.
