Immediately following the October 7 attacks, Joe Biden made the decision to let Israel, and specifically Benjamin Netanyahu lead the policy on Gaza. The result has been a disaster for the people of Gaza, while also undermining U.S. and regional security and interests and leaving over 100 Israeli hostages in grave peril in Gaza. On top of it all, Biden’s decisions–both the active ones and the ones he has abdicated to Israel–are costing him dearly in the polls and threaten to ussher in a second Trump administration.
