Graham Platner is going to be the Democratic nominee for Senate in Maine. But while Janet Mills did the right thing by stepping down, the attacks on him have shown once again how bad the Democrats are at strategy. They need to learn that they may win an election here and there, but they can never hold on to power if they offer nothing more than not being the Republicans.
