Israeli leaders, both in government and the opposition, have repeatedly threatened to turn Türkiye into the next #Iran. Since it’s a NATO country and does not have a history of enmity with the west like the Islamic Republic, that will be a tough task, but, over the long term, it still needs to be guarded against.
