Joe Biden’s policy failures in the Middle East are not limited to Palestine and Israel. He has arguably been even worse on Iran, where he has intentionally missed opportunities to restore some sanity to U.S. policy in the wake of Donald Trump’s madness. Instead, he has doubled down on Trump’s policies, refused to acknowledge the regional dynamics he is grappling with, and stumbled from tactic to tactic without any kind of strategy.
