In the latest edition of the Cutting Through newsletter, I break down the statements of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at a news conference on December 2. In those words, he unambiguously told us all what I have been contending from the beginning: this is a war against the Palestinian people, including, but far from limited to Hamas. It was yet another clear admission of genocide, something that is usually rare but the hubris engendered by the US, and especially the Biden administration, ensuring that Israel never pays any consequences for anything has made this admission common for Israel.
