Tom Friedman is back, at least for a minute. He stirred up a bit of a fuss last week when he wrote that the US was beginning a “reassessment” of its relationship with Israel due to the current government’s excesses.
Well, it wasn’t necessarily so, but the fact that Friedman wrote it, and that both the US and Israel reacted to it is worth looking into. This piece at Mondoweiss does just that.
